Owner/Personal Trainer
Meet Kelley Rubish, the driving force behind Koa Strength and Fitness. With nearly two decades of experience as a personal trainer and group training coach, Kelley’s dedication to helping others achieve their fitness goals is unparalleled. As a mother of six and devoted wife to Pete Rubish, she understands the importance of balance and leading by example in living a healthy, fulfilling life. Pete Rubish
Co-Owner/Online Coach
Pete is a competitive 242-pound powerlifter with best lifts of 772 pounds on squat, 485 pounds on bench, and 920 pounds on deadlift. For the last eleven years, he has been coaching and training lifters. His passion is helping others get stronger and pursue their true potential, all while living as healthy as possible. Pete has ran a 1:38 half marathon and is currently training for the Bighorn 100 Mile Run. Pete and his wife own Koa Strength and Fitness in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Sarah Walls
Online Coach
Sarah’s fitness journey began in 2019, sparking a newfound passion and sense of purpose. From struggling with motivation as a former competitor, she discovered strength and confidence through group strength training and powerlifting. Now, Sarah’s all about helping others succeed at Koa, where she’s dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives. Off the clock, you’ll find her coaching basketball, nurturing young athletes to reach their full potential. Whether you’re looking to reignite your motivation, improve athleticism, or simply live life to the fullest, Sarah is here for you!
Jessica Wilson

Meet Jessica, the epitome of sweetness and care in our gym’s childcare room. As a proud mom to one adorable little one and the daughter of one of our esteemed members, Jessica brings a special touch of warmth and familiarity to our gym family.
With her nurturing personality and genuine love for children, Jessica creates a nurturing environment. Whether she’s comforting a tearful toddler or leading engaging activities, her dedication shines through.

Yoga Instructor
Meet Danya, our serene yoga instructor who gracefully guides our members on their journey to inner peace and physical well-being. Joining the Koa team in 2020, Danya has been a beacon of tranquility and strength in our community.

Meet Pateyn, our Front Desk Dynamo and Gym Guru! Juggling her role as a homeschool mom of three with grace, Pateyn brings boundless energy to our gym. From greeting you with a warm smile to ensuring our gym sparkles, she’s the heart of our community. With occasional stints as a group class instructor, Pateyn inspires us all to reach our fitness goals.
